Orange County Sheriffs responded to 66 incidents during the week of January 27-February 2, 2019, a 15% weekly decrease by 10 calls. Weekly increases and decreases included:

  • Abandoned Vehicles (+3)
  • Assist Outside Agency (+2)
  • Battery Report (+1)
  • Bike Stops (-3)
  • Burglary and Robbery Alarms – Audible (+1)
  • Burglary in Progress (+1)
  • Burglary Report (-1)
  • Citizen Assistance (+1)
  • Court Order Violation (-1)
  • Disturbances/Family/Music or Party (-3)
  • Follow Up Report (+1) 
  • Fraud Report (+1)
  • ID Theft (+1)
  • Illegally Parked Vehicles (-3)
  • Information Report (-1)
  • Keep the Peace (+3)
  • Missing Juvenile (+1)
  • Patrol Checks (-4)
  • Pedestrian Check (+1)
  • Traffic Stops (-10)
  • Vandalism Report (-1)

For 33 or 59% of this week’s reported incidents, OCSD officers conducted 14 patrol checks and responded to 7 traffic stops, 3 suspicious persons/vehicles/circumstances, 4 burglary alarms, 4 pedestrian checks, and 1 follow-up report.
