Orange County Sheriffs responded to 74 incidents during the week of February 10-16, 2019, a 68% weekly increase by 30 calls. Weekly increases and decreases included:

  • 9-1-1 Hangup (+1)
  • Annoying Phone Call (+1)
  • Assist Outside Agency (+1)
  • Burglary and Robbery Alarms – Audible (+3)
  • Citizen Assistance (+2)
  • Court Order Violation (+1)
  • Disturbances/Family/Music or Party (-1)
  • Follow Up Report (+1) 
  • ID Theft (-2)
  • Illegally Parked Vehicles (+3)
  • Petty Theft Report (+4)
  • Stolen Vehicle (+1)
  • Suspicious Person in Vehicle/Person/Ciecumstances (+10)
  • Traffic Hazard (+1)
  • Traffic Stop (+3)

For 45 or 61% of this week’s reported incidents, OCSD officers conducted 12 patrol checks and responded to 10 traffic stops, 11 suspicious persons/vehicles/circumstances, 8 burglary alarms, 2 pedestrian checks, 1 bike stop, and 1 follow-up report. Citizen assistance was provided for 2 incidents.
