No Los Al quarterback has thrown the football with more accuracy or more proficiency than Kevin Feterik. Over the 1993, ’94 and ’95 seasons, the smooth left-hander passed for 6,222 yards while completing 68.7% of his passes. For his efforts in the 1994 and 1995 seasons, he was twice named all-state, and he was the Orange County Player of the Year and also named an All-American in 1995, when the Griffins were ranked as the No. 1 team in the nation by USA Today for six weeks of the season. During his junior year, the Griffins played Mater Dei at Anaheim Stadium in the CIF-Southern Section semif-finals before a crowd of 31,000 fans, the fifth largest attendance in section history.

At Brigham Young University, he finshed his career ranked fifth in all-time career yardage with 8,065 yards and ninth on the career touchdown pass list with 53. He was All-Western Athletic Conference Honorable Mention in his sophomore season, and second team all-Conference as a junior. He finished his senior year ranked eighth nationally in total offense, was a nominee for the the Davey O’Brien and Johnny Unitas Awards which annually go to the best college quarterback in the country.

After college, Kevin signed with the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent, then played a few seasons for the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, and also played in the Arena Football League.
