Los Al Arts Groups to host three Holiday concerts this week

It is a busy week for the Los Al Instrumental Music programs as they present three great Holiday performances.

A Christmas Carol

Tuesday, December 11th 7:00pm, LAHS PAC $5.00 at the door

The Los Alamitos Instrumental Department, including the award winning Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony and Percussion will present A CHRISTMAS CAROL at 7pm in the Performing Arts Center. With guests from the Los Alamitos Drama Department, relive the classic story of Ebeneezer Scrooge and start the holidays off with the festive sounds of the season.

Rat Pack &Friends: A Holiday Jazz Show

Thursday, December 13th 7:00pm, LAHS PAC,$5.00 at the door

The LAHS Jazz program presents their Rat Pack and Friends Holiday Show. All levels of the Jazz program will be performing holiday classics from the 1950s-early 60’s Rat Pack era of Sinatra-style swing music. Tickets sold at the door, $5.00 each.

Los Al String & Chamber Orchestra

Friday, December 14th, 7:00pm, LAHS PAC, $5.00 at the door

The LAHS String Orchestra and the LAHS Chamber Orchestra present their annual LAHS Orchestra Holiday Concert on December 14, with special guests LBCC Orchestra. The concert will be held in the Los Alamitos High School Performing Arts Center at 7p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door. We invite you to enjoy wonderful orchestral music this holiday season, including “Carol of the Bells”, Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Dance of the Tumblers by Rimsky-Korsakov, and music from A Charlie Brown Christmas.
