The Los Alamitos Recreation and Community Services Department is committed to “Creating Quality of Life” for residents during these challenging times. On March 18 Los Al Rec went virtual with widely available video classes, art contests, social media challenges, family activities and senior engagement. In addition to classes the Recreation and Community Services Department will be providing photo challenges, indoor activity ideas, tips for staying connected, and local resources.

Recreation staff has been brainstorming ideas the community would like to see offered but if anyone has suggestions please submit them to Erika Halberg at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All virtual recreation activities will be uploaded to the Recreation and Community Services website under Virtual Community Center, Instagram, Facebook, Next Door, and YouTube.
